1- After years of struggles, we managed to buy our own farm. Everyone in the community donated some of their own seeds so we could plant our very first crops!

2- One man offered to fly his crop duster over our land. He was a new pilot so the price was very reasonable, in fact it was free! We all gathered under the Pecan tree to watch.

3- However, he over-sprayed and ended up wilting all of my beautiful Roses. He apologized afterwards but I was too upset to forgive him. I loved my Roses!

4- A few days later he brought me a gift: a beautiful collage of dried rose petals in the shape of a plane. He said he combined his love of flying and my love of roses together!

5- It was such a sweet gesture! I invited him in and we started talking while munching on some of Mother’s fresh-baked French Toast. We had such a wonderful time!

6- After that day, something felt strange. Every time I saw this sweet young man, my tummy was filled with butterflies. One day he surprised me with a picnic in a beautiful Rose Garden.

7- We giggled about the first day we met! When we said goodbye my eyes met his, and that’s when I knew we were in love! Oh, and the young man’s name? Old Macdonald, of course!
